every day is a winding road.

  • something i accomplished today:  quite a bit, actually.  for some unknown reason i had all kinds of energy and didn’t get as sore halfway through the day.  i deep-cleaned both bathrooms, did dishes, laundry, cleaned/vaccumed the kids room, got gas, went to the bank, costco, sorted through some baby boy clothes, sorted through the girls’ shoes, sat down with harper and did play-doh (a very rare occurance), and made a real dinner (that means i didn’t use anything out of the freezer – oh wait, yes i did but it was spinich).
  • something i screwed up today:  bought the wrong kind of water filter at costco.  i hate returning things.
  • something fun i did with the kids:  chick-fil-a is fun for all of us!!
  • something funny or cute one of my kids did or said:  layne loves the girl who works afternoons at the gym and has started greeting her when we get there (“Tetta!!” for Tessa).  i think it’s so cute because she really doesn’t do that to anyone else.  for the record, tessa loves her right back.
  • something yummy i ate today:   had CFA chicken soup for the first time and it was delicious!!
  • something i read today:  nothing yet (it’s only 8:00…)
  • a tv show or movie i watched today:  layne took a 3 hour nap so harper and i watched some TLC together…on 13 Kids and Counting they had an episode where the Duggars rode on a float in a parade in Tenn. and michelle duggar was nursing a baby while standing on the float during the parade.  it was crazy.  yes, she was very covered, but i still couldn’t believe it.  not sure i’d do that even if i got paid!
  • something i did today that i hardly ever do:  like i said, i deep-cleaned the bathrooms.  and did play-doh with harper.
  • something i did today that i do every day:  repeated myself quite a bit.  UGH.
  • something i am thankful for right now:  at this second, i am very thankful for my computer.

    1. I’m gonna have to try that chicken soup since you have now stated how delicious it was like 5 or 6 times, HA! And if you still have energy I have some bathrooms that would love deep cleaning 🙂
