pay it forward.

okay, so today one of my dreams came true.  i have always wanted to have family pictures taken.  i love taking pictures of other people…really, i do.  but at least once during every session i’ve ever done, i’ve had the thought, “man i’d like to have a shot like that of my kids,” or “this is the perfect spot for a great picture with my husband.”

a few weeks ago a friend of mine e-mailed me a link (www.kallimaphotography.com) and said “you need to e-mail her.”  rebekah had written a blog about a pay it forward project that she’d been a part of that was started by Roadside Families.  i e-mailed her within ten seconds of reading her blog and when she wrote me back saying i was the “winner”, i was ECSTATIC.  here are two of the photos from the session we had with her today.  i am dying to see the rest.

img_4678-resized-copyi feel like i just had a bite of delicious chocolate cake and then someone jerked the plate away.  🙂  at least i know the rest are coming soon.

if you are reading this and you’re a photographer or you know a photographer who’d like to participate in this pay it forward project, please e-mail me.  i have 30 days to fulfill my end of the bargain.  that means i need to photograph another photographer’s family before february 5th.

some pictures from our session are now up on rebekah’s blog: kallimaphotography.wordpress.com
